External
Programming Area
Every
three years the US Women of Today offer foundations and/or organizations
the chance to present a bid on what they would like the USWT to
do for them and what they can do for the USWT. Delegates representing
17 member states then vote on one of the foundations -- which will
be recognized as the External Programming Area for the following
three years. Past external programs have included March of Dimes,
Cystic Fibrosis, Lost Child Network, Arthritis Foundation, Leukemia
Society, RESOLVE and Multiple Sclerosis. The foundation selected for 2004 - 2007 is:

These
areas have to do with the member's own personal growth and development.
